Globec (UK) is a first class supplier of high quality, competitive products but we pride ourselves on a unique combination of services by which we do it – excellent technical knowledge, meticulous material planning and outstanding customer service!

Technical Support – offering more than 20 years of electronic engineering experience and over 15 years product expertise, Globec’s technical team work with project leaders and design engineers to support their design process, supplying technical product data, test reports and product samples for evaluation.

Account Management – account managers work closely with estimators, buyers and purchasing managers to ensure commercial satisfaction from small single order quotes to large multi-drop annual pricing contracts.

Planning & Control – purchasing, stocking and distribution are organised and controlled using computerised techniques.
Stocking – as a stocking distributor, stock holding and buffers are prioritised according to customer demands and usages, and to meet JIT or KANBAN requirements.

Distribution – component are distributed to meet customer requirements within a delivery window of ‘3-days early / 0-days late’. Final deliveries are subcontracted to our preferred carriers including UPS, Interlink Express and Royal Mail. Customer designated carriers can also be accommodated.

Sub-Distribution – a range of sub-distributors have been approved to meet the need for small volume and one-off orders, or to comply with customers preferred buying routes. (see Farnell Electronic Components & Rapid Electronics)

Through-life Support – dedicated account managers and a quality system with full traceability are used to maintain project records and continuity for efficient through life support.

Networking – trading links have been established with a network of equivalent worldwide agents to support the global requirements of multi-national companies and to provide highly competitive stock availability.

Agent – As sole UK agent, Globec provides support services to the house accounts of its suppliers including technical support, product information and commercial support.
