BERU Microelectronica is a manufacturer of SMD and thick film hybrid microcircuits for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

BERU Microelectronica is based in Vitoria, Northern Spain and was founded under the name Simesa in 1989 by Gamesa Industrial Group and MBB (a TEMIC Group member) to design and manufacturer mid-high volume hybrid circuits. Simesa was acquired by BERU in 1999 as their strategic hybrid production facility.

BERU Microelectronica offer a dedicated design centre with modern CAD and thermal simulation tools for product development, Class 10,000 clean rooms and fully automated production facilities for fast, reliable and repeatable results.

BERU Microelectronica facilities and processes are fully approved to ISO9001:2000 but can also deliver product tested and approved to MIL-R-83401, MIL-STD 202 and MIL-STD 883.

Globec is the authorised technical agent and distributor for BERU Microelectronica’s hybrid capabilities and responsible for customers across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
